Grandmas Jewish Apple Cake Recipe
My friends, family and co-workers are always begging me to make this wonderful cake. I also love it warm for breakfast

Ingredients
  • Bowl 1
  • 5 Apples sliced thin (4 if big)
  • 5 Tbsp Sugar & 2 Tbsp Cinnamon ( mix together and put aside)
  • Bowl 2
  • 2 cups Sugar
  • 1 cup Crisco Oil
  • 4 Eggs
  • 2 1/2 teaspoons Vanilla Extract
  • 3 cups unsifted Flour
  • 1/4 cup of Orange Juice
  • 3 Tsp Baking Powder

Directions
  1. Preheat oven at 350 degress
  2. Grease and flour Bundt pan
  3. Mix all ingredients from bowl 2 together
  4. Gradually pour alternating layers of batter then apples, etc. until apples and batter are done
  5. Pour juice from apple mixture on top
  6. Bake 1 hour and 15 mins then Enjoy!!

Growing up alot of our neighbors were Jewish and their "bubbies" always made this delicious cake. great post.
