Ingredients

How to make it

  • 1) Cut the broccoli florets off the stalks. Peel the stalks & then cut on a slant into slices about 1/4" thick. Cut florets into bite-sized pieces. Wash broccoli & place on a steamer-rack, over a little gently-boiling water. Steam vegetables until tender-crisp ( about 5 to 7 minutes ). Cool broccoli immediately under cold running water.Drain broccoli well.Place in medium-size bowl.
  • 2) In a heavy skillet over medium heat, toast the sesame seed until golden, shaking pan constantly to avoid burning seeds. Remove seeds from skillet & sprinkle over broccoli.
  • 3) Combine remaining ingredients & mix very well with a wire whisk. Pour over broccoli; toss to mix well. Refrigerate until chilled.

Looks so good. I'd eat that chilled or hot. Maybe even over pasta. You got me thinking now :-)
