My Favorite Graham Crust Recipe
This is the only graham crust I use. It's so good and holds up very well with any filling. Doesn't get soggy or fall apart, even when used with a liquidy filling. I hope you enjoy it!

Ingredients
  • 1 1/3 cup graham crumbs
  • 1/2 cup melted margarine
  • 1/2 cup oats
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1/8 tsp salt
  • VARIATIONS
  • For a chocolate crust add 5 Tablespoons cocoa
  • For a peanut butter crust replace the 1/2 cup melted margarine with 1/2 cup melted peanut butter and 2 Tablespoons melted margarine

Directions
  1. Mix all ingredients together and press into pie plate.
  2. Bake at 350 for 7 minutes.
  3. Let cool.
  4. For a 9x13 pan I make as above plus add 1/2 a recipe. I hope that makes sense LOL!

There is nothing better than a home-made graham cracker crust. Those store bought crusts work in a jam....but go the extra mile and make this one!! Thanks for sharing!! Yummy


Love this, Michelle! Will try it next time I make a graham crust - your variations are perfect, too...I can see the pnut butter crust with a pnut butter pie - fantastic!
