Ingredients

EASY Homemade Tartar Sauce

My mother taught me to make sauces as a

young girl, to save money.

I just decided to add this one as it is so

delicious and FAR superior to the bought

kind. I think many restaurants make theirs

as theirs is usually so much tastier!

1 cup mayonnaise

2 green onions, minced

3 tablespoons minced fresh parsley

3 tablespoons minced

2 tablespoons capers

1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice

Salt, to taste

Freshly ground pepper, to taste

Dash of hot sauce

Dill (optional)

Directions

Stir together all ingredients until well blended. Cover and chill until ready to serve.

Delicious on many things..seafood, salad...even sandwiches!

I've been looking for a good recipe for this. We fry fish either on Friday or Saturday nights; year round. We fish every weekend so we have a freezer full. I've never made homemade Tartar Sauce; but I will from now on.
