Ingredients
- 16 to 20 large apples, peeled and sliced
- 2 cups sugar
- 2 cups apple cider
- 1 to 2 tsp cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp cloves
Directions
- Cook on medium high in crock pot for 8.5 hours. Stir and mash. Add 1 to 2 tsp cinnamon and 1/2 tsp cloves. Freeze or can.

Im not Askksk...but I can tell you what I do with apple butter...I put it on biscuits, scones, muffins, bagles,toast, oatmeal hmmmm what else..oh well I hope you get the idea...~M

Use it on waffles, pancakes, in bbq sauce, add it to muffins instead of oil. Apple butter is good food and it is most easily done in a crock pot. Good post.
