Chipotle Chili Butter

this is a nice mild to medium hot smoky butter... it can be used on toasted Baguettes or on hamburgers or steaks... this recipe is one of Chef John Bartilomo's..
Ingredients
- 1 pound sweet butter shopping list
- 1 chipotle chili which has been soaked in water to soften .... (use more if you want more heat) shopping list
- 2 TBSP. minced chives shopping list
- 3 TBSP. chopped cilantro shopping list
- 2 scallions chopped shopping list
- juice of 1 lime shopping list
How to make it
- cut butter into 1/8 th to soften and place it with the other ingredients in a food processor.
- Blend until smooth
- put into a nice dish or decorative molds..
