Layered Onion Bake Recipe

This is incredible if you love onions. Goes great with everything. Good as a dip or a topper or a side. Yummy.

Ingredients
- 2 cups all purpose baking mix
- 1/2 cup cold water
- 3 ounce can French fried onions
- 1-1/2 cups shredded Swiss cheese
- 4 eggs
- 1 can condensed cream of onion soup
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
Directions
- Preheat oven to 375 then grease a rectangular baking pan.
- Mix baking mix and water until soft dough forms and beat vigorously 20 strokes.
- Pat dough in pan with floured hands pressing 1/2" up sides.
- Sprinkle 1 cup onions and 1 cup cheese over dough.
- Mix eggs, soup, salt and pepper then pour over cheese and onions.
- Sprinkle with remaining cheese then bake 30 minutes.
- Crush remaining onions then sprinkle over top and bake 5 minutes longer.
