I just love these with a hot cup of coffee, tea, or coco
Ingredients
- 2 sticks butter, softened shopping list
- 1 cup sugar shopping list
- 1 egg yolk (save white) shopping list
- 1 Tbsp cinnamon shopping list
- 1 tsp vanilla shopping list
- 2 cups flour shopping list
- 1/2 tsp soda shopping list
- 1 cup chopped pecans or walnuts shopping list
How to make it
- 11x17 cookie sheet with sides
- 325 degree oven
- Cream butter, sugar; beat in yolk & vanilla. Beat in dry ingredients.
- Press dough in pan (may line pan with foil). Brush with egg white. Sprinkle with nuts and press in.
- Bake 35 minutes.
- Remove and immediately cut in squares, diamonds, or rectangles.
- Gets crisp quickly! Cool.
