Festive Shrimp Pinwheels Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1 can (8 oz) refrigerated crescent dinner rolls
  • 1/3 cup garlic-and-herb spreadable cheese (from 5.2- to 6.5-oz
  • container)
  • 1/2 cup coarsely chopped cooked shrimp ( canned is fine too )
  • 2 tablespoons chopped green onions (2 medium)

Directions
  1. . Heat oven to 350°F. Spray cookie sheet with cooking spray.
  2. Unroll dough and separate into 2 long rectangles; press each into 12x4-inch rectangle, firmly pressing perforations to seal.
  3. Spread cheese over each rectangle.
  4. Sprinkle each with shrimp and onions; press in lightly.
  5. . Starting with one short side, roll up each rectangle; press edge to
  6. seal.
  7. With serrated knife, cut each roll into 8 slices; place cut side
  8. down on cookie sheet.
  9. Bake 350 F 15 to 20 minutes or until edges are golden brown.
  10. Immediately remove from cookie sheet.
  11. Serve warm.
