I mix this up for Stirling, our Scottish Terrier, when her skin gets dry and her she starts pulling at her fur. I'm no Vet but I know it helps her and she does a full circle in the air at dinner time when I feed her this recipe!

Great recipe,Thank-you

Isn't she a nice girl! This is timely for me because I'm cooking right now for my dog, Lizzy, and one cat, Sammy (who has been vomiting way too much lately when eating cat food!). This will be welcome addition to my repertoire of ground beef, rice, cornmeal, peas &/or carrots!

You don't mention what type of rice but as someone who works in the veterinary field with a special interest in nutrition can I suggest brown rice?

Very interesting. I want to learn how to cook for my dogs.
