Lorna Pearls Strawberry Birthday Cake Recipe

	Mcboo / All my dishes 1 year, 3 months ago My grandmother always made this for the grandchildren's birthdays. It wasn't a party unless we had this cake from Grandma Lorna Pearl. Ingredients

1 prepared angel food cake

2-3 oz. boxes strawberry jello

1-12oz. pkg. frozen strawberries, in syrup

1-16 oz. container- Cool Whip

1 c. boiling water

Directions

Prepare angel food cake according to the directions on the box.

Let Cool.

Pour boiling water over jello.

Stir to dissolve the jello.

Stir in frozen strawberries.

Allow to set slightly in the refrigerator.

Fold in whipped topping.

Frost cake with strawberry mixture; include filling the center hole of the cake.

Refrigerate until frosting is thickened.
