Easy Smoked Salmon Canapes

- 1 cup sour cream shopping list
- 1/4 teasp. finely grated lemon peel shopping list
- 1 loaf of party size light rye bread shopping list
- 4 TBSP. unsalted butter, melted shopping list
- 1/2 pound smoked salmon, sliced and cut into 1/2 - 1-inch strips shopping list
- 2 scallions, thinly sliced shopping list
How to make it
- combine the sour cream and the lemon zest.
- chill for at least 2 hours or over night
- ...............................................................
- brush the bread slices with butter and cut each slice in half diagonally
- arrange the bread triangles on a baking sheet
- bake at 350' F for about 10 minutes.. or until lightly toasted
- let cool completely
- spread generously but not goopy, the chilled lemon cream on top of each triangle.
- place a strip of salmon on top of each... be decorative...
- garnish with the scallions...
