I adore this simple cake with terrific ingredients! Perfect with a cup of Coffee or Tea! :)

Ingredients
  • 3 1/2 cups flour
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoons salt
  • 1 cup margarine
  • 3 tablespoons dark cocoa (it's better)
  • 1 teaspoons cinnamon
  • 2 teaspoons soda
  • 2 cups buttermilk
  • 1 cup chopped dates
  • Optional: Chopped Nuts

Directions
  1. Bake at 325 degrees for 25 to 30 minutes or until done in greased pan. Cool
  2. Dust with powdered sugar if you like...Enjoy! :)
