How to make it

  • Sprinkle chicken heavily with seasonings.
  • Pour 1 beer into a pot and place chicken in pot.
  • Poke holes in chicken and pour 2nd beer onto chicken.
  • Use more beer if needed.
  • Cover and set into hot coals. Cook for a minumum of 1 1/2 hour. Juices should run clear.
  • Total time on the grill is about 1 1/2 - 2 hours.
  • This recipe works best over hot charcoal. Do not cook over direct flames.
  • This recipe work well in a dutch oven too.
