Some preparation but worth the work. Once the ingredients are prepared comes together nicely. Cook to taste recipe. I like to serve this alone or with a side of applesauce

Ingredients
  • Garlic powder
  • Parmesan cheese
  • 4 Tb ls butter
  • Fresh Broccoli about 2-3 stalks
  • Cooked Sausage "Hill shire farm or eckrich"
  • Medium Egg Noodles
  • Cheese Tortellinis or Cheese and Spinach Tortellinis

Directions
  1. Cut up broccoli flowerettes into bite size pieces
  2. Chop tops nice and fine
  3. Cut outer rind of stalk
  4. Cut soft white center of stalk into slices
  5. Cut up whole sausage by half moon slices
  6. Melt butter in dutch oven
  7. Add broccoli and sprinkle garlic powder
  8. Stir
  9. Put lid on dutch oven
  10. Cook broccoli about 15 minutes on a low-med heat or until becomes bright green
  11. Add sausage
  12. Cook at a medium low
  13. Sprinkle with garlic powder and mix
  14. Bring second pot to boil
  15. Cook tortellinis and half bag egg noodles according to instructions in same pot
  16. Drain
  17. Add pasta to broccoli and sausage mix
  18. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese and a little more garlic powder
  19. Stir pasta so well blended and broccoli is nice coat for noodles
  20. Add more Parmesan to top of mix
  21. Put lid on dutch oven
  22. Cook for 5 minutes more
  23. Stir before serving
  24. Drain
