German Noodles With Mushrooms Recipe

A delicious vegetarian German-style noodle dish.

Ingredients
  • 1 lb. sliced mushrooms
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 8 oz. cooked egg noodles
  • 2 tbsp butter fine bread crumbs or crushed round cracker crumbs
  • parsley
  • salt
  • pepper
  • paprika
  • parmesan cheese

Directions
  1. Saute mushrooms in butter over high heat for 5 minutes.
  2. Season to taste with salt, pepper and chopped parsley.
  3. Arrange noodles and muhrooms in layers in a buttered casserole dish.
  4. Top with buttered bread crumbd or crushed cracker crumbs and brown in 375 degree F oven about 10 minutes.
  5. Sprinkle with parmesan cheese and paprika and serve with garlic bread or buttered toast.
