Delicious Country Chicken Fried Steak

- chicken-Fried steak shopping list
- 3/4 cup all-purpose flour shopping list
- 3/4 teaspoon salt shopping list
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper shopping list
- 1/2 cup buttermilk shopping list
- 3/4 teaspoon hot sauce shopping list
- 1 pound beef cube steaks shopping list
- 1/4 cup plus 2 tablespoons vegetable oil, divided shopping list
- 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour shopping list
- 1 cup milk shopping list
- 1/4 teaspoon salt shopping list
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper shopping list
How to make it
- Stir together first 3 ingredients in a shallow dish.
- Combine buttermilk and hot sauce in a bowl.
- Dredge steaks in flour mixture; dip into buttermilk mixture, and dip again in flour mixture.
- Heat 1/4 cup oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add steaks, and cook 5 minutes on each side. Remove from skillet. Drain steaks on paper towels.
- Heat remaining 2 tablespoons oil in skillet; whisk in 2 tablespoons flour, and cook, whisking constantly, 5 minutes or until light golden brown.
- Gradually whisk in milk; cook, whisking constantly, over medium heat until thickened and bubbly (about 10 minutes).
- Stir in 1/4 teaspoon salt and 1/4 teaspoon pepper.
- Serve over steaks.

just finished eating this. turned out great. good easy to make and easy on the pocket recipie. i think i got away for 4 dollers or something but i allready had most the ingredients. thanks for dinner!
