How to make it

  • Mix the chili powder and garlic powder
  • Rub over pork loin
  • Place the loin in a roasting pan
  • Baked uncovered at 350 degrees for 2 hours or until meat thermometer registers done
  • 20 MINUTES BEFORE END OF COOKING TIME drizzle with tangy sauce
  • TANGY SAUCE
  • Combine ingredients in a saucepan
  • Bring to boil, stirring occasinally
  • Excess sauce mixed with pan drippings may be served on the
  • side. Additional sauce may also be made to serve on side.

    This sauce looks really good! I have been looking for apple jelly for a couple of years now, 'cause I have a salmon recipe that uses it...but no luck to my chagrin, so last time I made the salmon, I substituted pomegranate jelly for it!
