How to make it

  • For Crust:
  • Cream butter,brown sugar,flavorings,until fluffy.
  • Add flour,stir until well blended,stir in pecans.
  • Press about 1 teaspoon mixture into bottom of paper lined miniature muffin pans.
  • For Filling:
  • Beat cream cheese and brown sugar until fluffly,add eggs,and root beer flavoring,beat until well blended.
  • Stir in crushed Root Beer Barrels.
  • Spoon about 1 Tablespoon of mixture over each crust mixture.
  • Bake in a 350 degree oven for about 16 to 18 minutes or until the filling is set.
  • Remove to wire rack and cool.
  • Store in refrigerator,may sprinkle finely crushed root beer barrels over top after a small drop of whipped cream that has been flavored with root beer favoring.
