I make poppers all the time. Usually I deep fry them. Tonight I made an oven version with a little kick.

Ingredients
- 1 16 ounce package jack cheese
- 1 package of regular cream cheese
- Red pepper flakes 1/2 tsp.
- 12 large jalapeño peppers, seeded and halved
- 24 slices of bacon
Directions
- Preheat the broiler
- Shred the jack cheese and mix with the cream cheese and the red pepper flakes. Stuff inside the jalapeno halves.Wrap the jalapeño halves with the bacon slices, securing with a toothpick. Place on a medium baking sheet.
- Broil 5 to 10 minutes, or until the bacon is evenly browned
