Ingredients
  • 8 fresh jalapeno peppers
  • 8 medium size wild gulf shrimp, peeled, deveined and cooked
  • Monterey jack or mozzarella cheese
  • 8 strips bacon
  • Sour cream
  • cumin
  • parsley
  • garlic salt

Directions
  1. Cut tops off of jalapeno peppers and remove seeds.
  2. Stuff pepper first with small amount of cheese, then one shrimp and then fill remainder with more cheese. Like your filling a paper bag.
  3. Wrap pepper with a strip of bacon, using a wooden pick to secure in place.
  4. Place each "kiss" on a broiler pan. Broil until bacon is crispy. Drain on a paper towel and serve on plate with sour cream that you have added cumin garlic salt and parsley to taste for the dipping.
  5. DON'T FORGET TO WEAR GLOVES!
  6. Enjoy!

Ditto. My first reaction on reading it was "OMG, OMG". Thanks for the advise of doubling the recipe, I know what you mean.

Some like it hot, but I am not one of them ha ha, I think I will try this with banana peppers instead of jale's, but really bacon and sour cream you can't go wrong!
