How to make it

  • Cook butter, onion, and sugar together until onions are clear.
  • Add mustard and poppy seeds; mix well
  • Cut entire sections of rolls in half, setting the top aside.
  • Place the bottom layer back in the tin and spread the onion mixture on the bottom half of the rolls.
  • Top with chopped ham and cheese.
  • Replace the top half of the rolls.
  • Cover with aluminum foil.
  • Bake at 300 degrees Fahrenheit for 15-30 minutes, until cheese melts and rolls are heated throughout.
