Easy Jerk Chicken In 30 Minutes Recipe
Great combination of spices rubbed on chicken thighs. Thighs are browned in skillet, chicken broth is added, then thighs are simmered for a few minutes. Delicious.

  • JERK RUB
  • 3 tablespoons dried thyme
  • 3 tablespoons onion powder
  • 2 tablespoons ground allspice
  • 2 tablespoons ground black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons ground red pepper
  • 1-1/2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 tablespoon salt
  • 3/4 teaspoons ground nutmeg
  • 1/4 teaspoons ground cloves
  • 4 skinned, with bone-in chicken thighs
  • 1/4 cup chicken broth

Directions
  1. Combine Jerk Rub in bowl, whisk to blend
  2. Rub 1 tablespoon Jerk Rub over the 4 skinned chicken thighs
  3. Let stand about 5 minutes
  4. Coat a large nonstick skillet with cooking spray OR lightly oil a skillet
  5. Brown chicken over medium-high heat for 2 minutes on each side
  6. Add 1/4 cup chicken broth, then reduce heat
  7. Cover and simmer for 15 or *more* minutes until chicken is done
  8. Remove chicken thighs to serving platter
  9. Pour drippings over the thighs
