Ingredients

How to make it

  • Pour off about 1/2 cup of the tequila and reserve for another use
  • Add jalapenos, green onion, serrano, chile de arbol, garlic clove halves, and lime zest to tequila in bottle
  • Cover and let stand at room temperature for 2 days
  • Store bottle in freezer
  • Tequila will become think and syrupy

    Hi Corrine. Yes, I did miss this one..LOL Thank you for pointing that out. Geez, you past out in some ones yard 20 years ago and it follows you forever.. LOL

    My best friend lives in Mexico City. We get together once a year for fishing and fun. Every year we pick a good quality tequilla that we have not tried. It is S.O.P. in Mexico to serve good tequilla frozen with 1/2 of a serrano and a small wedge of lime in the glass.

    I like your idea of prepping the entire bottle before hand. And looking forward to adding the garlic and onion... Great Post ....... ;-)~ Jim
