Ingredients
  • Mix 1 cup Margarine (or butter) and 1/2 cup sugar.
  • Stir in 1/2 cup KARO light corn syrup, 2 egg yolks and 2 1/2 cups flour. Chill.
  • Roll into 1-inch balls. Dip into slightly beaten egg whites, then into 2 cups finely chopped nuts (I used walnuts). Place on greased baking sheet. Press candied cherry halves into centers (I use red and green).

Directions
  1. Bake at 325 degrees for 20 minutes.

Have to say that these are MY favorite holiday cookie..not too sweet and very moist. Holds up well on a cookie tray.
