All-purpose Bbq Rub

- 1/4 cup coarse salt (kosher or sea) shopping list
- 1 tbsp brown sugar shopping list
- 1 tbsp dry mustard powder shopping list
- 1/4 cup chili powder shopping list
- 2 tbsp paprika shopping list
- 1 tsp cayenne shopping list
- 2 tbsp freshly ground black pepper shopping list
How to make it
- Place salt, sugar, mustard powder, chili powder, paprika, cayenne and ground pepper in a bowl and mix together.
- Store in an airtight jar away from heat and light; it will keep for at least six months.
- Makes about 1 cup
- Hint:
- Instead of rubbing, you can also place this rub in a plastic storage bag, put the pieces in, and shake to coat.
