Lemon-Apple Braid

- 1 Can Cresent rolls shopping list
- 2 granny smith apples shopping list
- 1/4 c sugar shopping list
- 3 T flour shopping list
- 1/2 t cinnamon shopping list
- Glaze: shopping list
- 1 t lemon juice shopping list
- 1/2 box powdered sugar shopping list
- 2 t milk shopping list
How to make it
- Preheat oven to 375 degrees
- Make a mixture of the sugar, cinnamon and flour. Set aside.
- Peel apples; cut down the center and core.
- Thinly slice each half. Set aside.
- Open rolls.
- Lay flat, then use a dough roller to get rid of the seams.
- Place apples down the center of dough and sprinkle with the sugar, cinnamon and flour mixture.
- Cut one (1) inch slits on each side of the cresent roll.
- Start the braid by picking up the top strip and lay in a downward angle.
- Do the same with the top strip on the other side.
- Repeat to the bottom.
- Pinch the bottom together and take off excess.
- Bake in oven for 18-25 minutes.
- Glaze:
- Drizzle over the top of braid when done.
