Hot Buttered Rum Recipe

I should have waited until winter to post this, but when I ran across it in one of my old notebooks I couldn't wait! Maybe I'm starting to look forward to autumn and curling up with a book and a nice mug of sweet, buttery rum.

Ingredients
- 1 lb. butter
- 1 lb. powder sugar
- 1 lb. dark brown sugar
- 1 pt. vanilla ice cream
- 1 t. vanilla
Directions
- Melt together in large saucepan, butter & sugars and then stir in ice cream and vanilla. Pour into plastic container with lid and freeze.
- When you are in the mood, get out your favorite mug, put a tablespoon or so of goop into the mug, a shot of dark rum and fill with boiling water. Serve with a cinnamon stick stirrer. Relax. Repeat.
