  • Wrap meat slices around dill pickles

    These are the best things in the world! Well, maybe not the world, but they are right up there! The Iowa State Fair is known for their great food -- and everything you can imagine "on-a-stick". Check out IowaStateFair.org for a list of their "foods on a stick".

    I will have to try this recipe for sure! My family makes something very similar with the thick rectangle ham slices (from a package), cream cheese, and homemade pickled asparagus all rolled up; we slice it into bite size pieces and put toothpicks in it for a yummy appetizer....mmmm.
