YEPPER DOODLE CREAMED TATERS This recipe came from an estate sale. I obtained it when I purchased the family collection from the Cook Estate in Dallas, Texas in 1991.
Ingredients
- 6 potatoes shopping list
- 4 tablespoons butter shopping list
- 3 tablespoons flour shopping list
- 1-1/2 cups milk shopping list
- salt and pepper shopping list
How to make it
- Dice and cook potatoes in boiling water.
- Make white sauce of butter, flour and milk.
- Season with salt and pepper.
- Drain cooked potatoes and place in serving dish or casserole.
- Cover with white sauce then serve immediately.
