Peanut Butter Spread Recipe
I found this recipe at a spa with peanut butter, honey & lowfat ricotta. It's yummy & a great way to stretch your pb experience with less calories!

Ingredients
  • 15 oz. low-fat ricotta cheese
  • 1/4 c. peanut butter
  • 1 T. honey
  • 1/4 t. almond extract
  • 1/4 t. vanilla extract
  • 1/4 t. ground cinnamon

Directions
  1. Combine all ingredients in food processor
  2. Blend until smooth.
  3. Refrigerate up to two weeks.
  4. Serve on cinnamon ezekial, rice cakes or whatever you like.
  5. Yummy ~ enjoy!

Alterations


i did not have almond extract so i did 1/2 tsp vanilla extract..i loved it..thank you so much..now no more pb weight gain from this binges..lol jk..but also i added 2 tsp of milled flax seed for a nutty texture..wow thank you so much i would have never thought of doing this..also you get more protein and everything...i did 1 tbsp splenda and maybe half a tsp honey to save those calories from honey to sweeten..i adore you for this..im going to be living off of this spread for sandiwches..i will even sprinkle some whey protein and cocoa for a pb and choc sandwich......MMMMMM
