From the kitchen of S. Bourland, Abilene, Texas as sent to the sweet guys at Imperial Sugar. When I saw this I thought 'How neat" but when I tasted it, I thought "How soothing and different"

Ingredients
  • ADD EXTRA TIME FOR INFUSING AND FREEZING ICE CUBES AND FOR STEEPING
  • --------------------
  • 1/2 C lemon juice
  • 1 1/2 C Imperial Sugar Extra Fine Granulated Sugar or Dixie Crystals Extra Fine Granulated Sugar
  • 1 T vanilla extract
  • 2 T almond extract
  • 1 C very strong tea (3 bags per cup)
  • --
  • That's it!

Directions
  1. Add one-quart water and 32 ounces ginger ale when ready to serve.
  2. Serve with mint-infused ice cubes and/or mint sprigs (or both) or hot with lemon slices.
