Flaky Tender Pastry Crust

- 2 cups sifted flour shopping list
- 1 teasp. salt shopping list
- 2/3 cup golden Fluffo shopping list
- 4 TBSP. ice water shopping list
How to make it
- combine the flour and the salt in a mixing bowl
- cut in the Fluffo with a pastry blender until the mixture resembles coarse cornmeal
- sprinkle water over mixture 1 TBSP. at a time
- mix using a fork
- continue until the flour is moistened.
- divide into 2 balls and wrap in plastic wrap and put in the refrigerator for about 1 hour or until the dough is chilled
- roll pastry on a lightly floured board to 1/8-inch thickness
- use short light strokes from the center to the outer edges
- keep dough round
- makes 2 crusts...

- tips... make sure every thing you use it cold...
- use a very light hand in rolling out dough
- don't pack the dough into a ball do it very gently just until it holds together...
- chill your bowl
- put the pie crust back in the refrigerator after you get it in the pie plat to chill it back down
- make Sure you oven is at the correct temperature before putting the pie in...
