Honey Bun Cake

- 1 yellow cake mix shopping list
- 2/3 c oil shopping list
- 4 eggs shopping list
- 8 oz sour cream shopping list
- 1 cup packed brown sugar shopping list
- 1/3 c chopped pecans shopping list
- 2 tsp cinnamon shopping list
- 1 c powdered sugar shopping list
- 1 tbsp milk shopping list
- 1 tsp vanilla shopping list
How to make it
- Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease 9x13 pan.
- Beat cake mix, oil, eggs and sour cream in a large bowl on medium
- speed 2 minutes, scraping bowl occasionally. Spread half the batter
- in the pan.
- Stir together brown sugar, pecans and cinnamon. Sprinkle over batter
- in pan. Carefully spread remaining batter evenly over pecan mixture.
- Bake about 45 minutes or until deep golden brown (I baked mine for 40 minutes).
- Stir together powdered sugar, milk and vanilla. Add additional milk
- if needed to make thin enough to spread. Prick surface of warm cake several times with a fork. Spread icing evenly over cake (it will be a thin layer of glaze). Cool completly.
