Honey Bun Cake Recipe

Ingredients

1 yellow cake mix

2/3 c oil

4 eggs

8 oz sour cream

1 cup packed brown sugar

1/3 c chopped pecans

2 tsp cinnamon

1 c powdered sugar

1 tbsp milk

1 tsp vanilla

Directions

Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease 9x13 pan.

Beat cake mix, oil, eggs and sour cream in a large bowl on medium

speed 2 minutes, scraping bowl occasionally. Spread half the batter

in the pan.

Stir together brown sugar, pecans and cinnamon. Sprinkle over batter

in pan. Carefully spread remaining batter evenly over pecan mixture.

Bake about 45 minutes or until deep golden brown (I baked mine for 40 minutes).

Stir together powdered sugar, milk and vanilla. Add additional milk

if needed to make thin enough to spread. Prick surface of warm cake several times with a fork. Spread icing evenly over cake (it will be a thin layer of glaze). Cool completly.
