Ingredients

1 cup water

1 chicken bouillon cube

1 pkg (10 oz) frozen chopped broccoli (I use freshly steamed & chopped)

1 med. Carrot, grated

2-3 Tbl butter

3 Tbl flour

2 cups milk

1 lb Velveeta cheese (I use about 9/10 of a lb.)

1 can of cream of chicken soup

1 Tbl minced onion

1 Tbl Worcestershire sauce

Pepper to taste

Nutmeg (2 shakes)

Directions

Heat water and bouillon cube to boiling.

Add broccoli and carrot. Cooking 5 minutes or until tender.

Remove from heat, do not drain.

In separate saucepan, melt butter, slowly stir in flour.

Gradually add milk, cook until thickened.

Stir in cheese, soup, onion, sauce, pepper, and nutmeg.

Add broccoli/carrot mixture, heat and serve.
