A easy yummie frosting that has been in our family forever. You can add nuts or what ever you like to this or just leave it simply.

Ingredients
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1 cup half & half
- ½ cup butter or 1 stick
Directions
- Mix all ingredients and bring to a boil for about 3 to 5 minutes. It should be kind of thick. Take off heat and beat in about 4 cups of powder sugar and 1 teaspoon vanilla.

This is my favorite frosting! My grandma used to put this on a devil's food cake, and sometimes she'd mix chopped walnuts or pecans into the frosting too! You can't go wrong with this one! Thanks for posting Desertgal!!!
