This is an old school quick and easy chicken dish with delicious results! Serve over noodles or rice. You might think it took hours to prepare, the flavors are so good.

Ingredients
- 1 - 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 6 to 8 pieces chicken parts
- 1 cup dry sherry
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 can condensed cream of mushroom soup
- Rice or noodles
Directions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- Lightly brown chicken in oil in skillet or dutch oven if you are going to bake this in the dutch oven.
- Combine the browned chicken and remaining ingredients in the dutch oven or a large casserole. DO NOT COVER.
- Bake for 90 minutes.
- Enjoy the wonderful aroma that emanates from your oven.
- Prepare rice or noodles.
- Serve with sauce over rice or noodles.
- Modestly accept accolades from your family and friends.
