Shrimp Sorrento from DImperios

- 3/4 lb. cream cheese, softened shopping list
- 4 T. unsalted butter, softened shopping list
- 4 T. gorgonzola cheese, crumbled shopping list
- 4 T. Chardonnay wine (or other white wine) shopping list
- juice of 2 fresh lemons shopping list
- juice of 2 fresh limes shopping list
- salt and white pepper to taste shopping list
- 24 large shrimp, shelled and deveined shopping list
How to make it
- In a small mixing bowl put the first 7 ingredients and mix until well blended. Place the shrimp in a large skillet, cover with the sauce and saute on medium heat until the shrimp are opaque, about 2-3 minutes. (do not leave on heat because this sauce burns and browns quickly.) Serve on plates with sauce drizzled over.
