Creamy Chicken Curry

- 1.2 Kilo skinless chicken pieces shopping list
- 1 big onion , sliced shopping list
- Whole spices of your choice - 1 stick cinnamon , 1 star anise , 2 cardamom , 2 cloves shopping list
- 1 tomato , cubed shopping list
- 2 tbsp fresh ginger garlic paste shopping list
- 5 tbsp corriander pwd shopping list
- 3 tbsp chilli pwd shopping list
- 1 tbsp meat pwd ( optional ) shopping list
- salt to taste shopping list
- 200 ml cream shopping list
- 5 kaffir lime leaves ( optional ) shopping list
How to make it
- Fry the onions in 2 tbsp oil along with the spices .
- Add the ginger garlic paste .
- Once well fried , add the tomato cubes .
- Mix well , add the pwds and fry until raw smell disappears .
- Add the chicken and salt in and mix until well coated .
- Add more oil if necessary .
- Add 1 1/2 to 2 cups of water .
- Bring to boil and simer for 15 to 25 mins until well cooked .
- Add the cream and mix well .
- Crush the lime leaves in and close the lid .
- Remove from fire and serve as side dish .
