Penne Alla Vodka

This is extremely tasty and very creamy. I love this and mae it often. Enjoy
Ingredients
- 16 ounce package penne pasta shopping list
- 1 medium white onion diced shopping list
- 4 tablespoons butter shopping list
- 8 ounce can tomato sauce shopping list
- 16 ounce can tomatoes drained shopping list
- 1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes shopping list
- 2/3 cup vodka shopping list
- 1 cup heavy cream shopping list
- 1/4 pound ham diced shopping list
- 1 cup frozen peas thawed shopping list
- parmesan cheese grated shopping list
How to make it
- Cook pasta according to package directions.
- In large skillet over medium heat cook onion in hot butter until tender about 5 minutes.
- Stir in tomato sauce and tomatoes then add vodka and cook 5 minutes.
- Blend in cream and heat to boiling then reduce heat and add ham and peas and heat through.
- Toss sauce with hot drained pasta and serve with grated parmesan.
