Double Dark Chocolate Tiramisu Recipe
Yet another recipe for delcious, chocolaty, creamy tiramisu. May add a bit of liquer to the cocoa mixture if desired

Ingredients
  • 2 tablespoons unsweetened dark cocoa powder, plus more for garnish
  • 1 1/2 cups heavy cream
  • 4 ounces dark chocolate, chopped
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, room temperature
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 24 ladyfinger cookies

Directions
  1. In medium bowl, mix cocoa powder with 1 1/2 cups very hot water until dissolved.
  2. Set cocoa mixture aside.
  3. In small microwave-safe bowl,place 1/4 cup cream and chocolate.
  4. Microwave in 1-minute increments and stir until melted.
  5. Cool to room temperature.
  6. Transfer cooled chocolate mixture to mixing bowl.
  7. Add cream cheese and sugar.
  8. Using electric mixer, beat until blended.
  9. Add remaining 11/4 cups cream.
  10. Beat chocolate filling until fluffy, about 2 minutes.
  11. Spread 1/4 cup chocolate filling in the bottom of a 2-quart serving
  12. dish.
  13. One at a time, dip 6 ladyfingers in cocoa mixture, then arrange
  14. in a single layer in dish.
  15. Spread 1 cup chocolate filling.
  16. Repeatwith three more layers, ending with the filling.
  17. Cover tiramisu and refrigerate at least 2 hours (and up to 2 days).
  18. Dust with cocoa powder before serving.
