Tilgidhs Banana Cream

- 4 ripe bananas Brown spotted soft is best shopping list
- 1/2 cup cream cheese shopping list
- 2 tbsp heavy cream shopping list
- 3 tbsp maple syrup shopping list
- 5 tbsp currant jam shopping list
- 3 tbsp chopped almonds shopping list
How to make it
- Mash bananas in a bowl until smooth.
- Work in cream cheese and cream until this mixture is thick and fluffy
- Mix in maple syrup
- Note: You can mix this in a stand mixer or with a hand mixer. I do.
- How you finish this off is up to you.
- Option 1
- Put mixture on a dish and smooth the surface.
- Cover with jam and sprinkle with almonds.
- Chill for several hours and serve cold.
- Option 2
- On a serving platter make 2 inch round dollops and flatten.
- Cover tops with jam and sprinkle with almonds.
- Chill for several hours and serve cold
- Option 3
- Same as above mentioned but spread on cake as icing, chill. Spread jam on top, then sprinkle almonds.
