Big Country Breakfast Casserole

- 3 cups chopped onions shopping list
- 3 Tbsp butter shopping list
- 1/4 to 1/2 tsp salt shopping list
- 1/4 tsp pepper shopping list
- 2 (12 oz) cans Pillsbury Big Country refrigerated buttermilk biscuits shopping list
- 6 slices bacon, crisply cooked, crumbled shopping list
- 2/3 cup whipping cream shopping list
- 1/2 cup dairy sour cream shopping list
- 3 eggs shopping list
- 2 oz (1/2 cup) shredded white Cheddar or monterey jack cheese shopping list
- pepper, if desired shopping list
How to make it
- Heat oven to 375 degrees. In large skillet, cook onions in margarine until tender but not browned. Stir in salt and 1/4 tsp pepper. Separate dough into 20 biscuits; place in ungreased
- 15 x 10 inch jelly roll pan. Press over bottom and 1/2 inch up sides to form crust. Spoon onions over crust; sprinkle with bacon. In medium bowl; combine cream, sour cream and eggs until well blended; stir in cheese. Spoon evenly over onions and bacon. Sprinkle with additional pepper. Bake at 375 degrees for 24-30 minutes or until crust is deep golden brown. Store in refrigerator.
