My co-worker's mother brings us cookies periodically. She's been baking forever and her recipes are beyond perfect. These are one of my favorites. Very soft and tender cookies with plump raisins and a cinnamon sugar coating. Heaven!

(Not dissimilar to raisin scones, but probably healthier since there's no jam and cream involved!)

P.S I microwaved my raisins in boiled water for 2 mins instead of in a saucepan on the hob)
