This is a buttermilk bread recipe that is easy to make in the bread machine.

Ingredients
  • 1 1/4 cups buttermilk, warmed slightly
  • 2 tablespoons butter, softened
  • 3 cups white bread flour
  • 3 tablespoons granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 teaspoons active dry yeast

Directions
  1. Place ingredients in the bread machine pan in the order suggested by the manufacturer.
  2. Select Basic bread cycle and start machine.
  3. Makes a 2 pound loaf.
