Ingredients

3 c sugar

3/4 c white corn syrup

3/4 c water

2 egg whites

1 3-oz pkg Jello with sugar

1/2 c2 c flaked coconut (opt)

1 chopped nuts (opt)

Directions

Combine sugar, syrup and water in saucepan. Bring to boil, cook to a firm ball stage (252F).

Combine egg whites that have been beaten very stiff and Jello and beat until peaks form.

Pour hot syrup into egg white/Jello combination.

Fold in coconut and nuts if desired.

Spoon onto parchment paper or pour into greased pan

Let cool and cut into squares if in pan.

May be frozen.
