How to make it

  • Combine sugar, syrup and water in saucepan. Bring to boil, cook to a firm ball stage (252F).
  • Combine egg whites that have been beaten very stiff and Jello and beat until peaks form.
  • Pour hot syrup into egg white/Jello combination.
  • Fold in coconut and nuts if desired.
  • Spoon onto parchment paper or pour into greased pan
  • Let cool and cut into squares if in pan.
  • May be frozen.
