Ingredients
  • 1 cup of unsalted butter
  • 2tspof vanilla
  • 13/4 cup sifted flour
  • 3/4 cup chopped almonds
  • 1/4 tsp of salt
  • 1/2 cup of confectioners sugar

Directions
  1. cream butter and gradually beat in sugar
  2. add in half the vanilla flour almonds and salt and blend well
  3. roll dough into a log shape wrap in cling plastic and chill for about 10 minutes
  4. cut in to 2 cm small discs and shape into crescents and bake
  5. once out of oven and cooled sprinkle with a little sifted icing sugar
