FANCY CHICKEN LOG This is a recipe I obtained from an estate sale. I obtained it when I purchased the family collection from the Bradshaw Estate in McKinney, Texas in 1988.

Ingredients
  • 16 ounces cream cheese softened
  • 1 tablespoon bottled steak sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon curry powder
  • 1-1/2 cups minced cup cooked chicken
  • 1/3 cup minced celery
  • 1/3 cup chopped fresh parsley
  • 1/4 cup chopped toasted almonds
  • Assorted crackers

Directions
  1. Beat together first 3 ingredients.
  2. Blend in next 2 ingredients and 2 tablespoons parsley.
  3. Refrigerate remaining parsley.
  4. Shape mixture into 9” log then wrap in plastic wrap and chill 4 hours or overnight.
  5. Toss together remaining parsley and almonds then use to coat log.
  6. Serve with crackers.
