this goes very nice on the amaretto cupcake recipe... it would go nice on a number of other cakes also.. the recipe makes enough frosting for 24 cupcakes...depending on how thick you put it on.!! and how much you sample. Read more ..LOL See less

- 1/4 cup butter or margarine; melted
- 3 to 4 tablespoons whipping cream
- 2 to 3 tablespoons Amaretto

Ingredients

3 cups confectioners' sugar shopping list
1/4 cup butter or margarine; melted shopping list
3 to 4 tablespoons whipping cream shopping list
2 to 3 tablespoons Amaretto shopping list

How to make it

In a small mixing bowl, beat confectioners' sugar and butter. Add whipping cream and Amaretto; beat until smooth. Add remaining cream and Amaretto if needed to achieve spreading consistency.
Yield: frosts 24 regular cupcakes
