Ingredients
  • BACON CORNBREAD
  • 3 slices bacon, crumbled
  • 2 c. self-rising cornmeal
  • 1 c. self-rising flour
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1/3 c. vegetable oil
  • Preheat oven to 350* F. Reserve bacon drippings. Combine flour, cornmeal and sugar. Stir in water and oil. Add bacon and reserved drippings. Pour evenly into greased 13 X 9-inch pan. Bake 30 minutes or until tests done. Serve warm.
